Established in June 1977 in Ginza (Tokyo), Toyo Pacific is one of the most traditional ship broking companies in Japan’s capital today. Since then the company has been a very active and well connected enterprise serving customers all over the globe. Our main activities are focused on the mediation of dry bulk chartering contracts from Handy up to Panamax vessel size.

A Dedicated Team of Reliable Professionals of Dry Cargo Brokering

The president of our company, Capt. V. Kumar, started his ship broking career in June 1977, with the foundation of Toyo Pacific in Tokyo. Before entering into this challenging field, he sailed as Captain on many different ships. His last command was on MV “Woerman Sanaga” under the flag of Deutsche Afrika Linien. Also he worked as port Captain for LASCO Shipping, Portland (USA) and now holds more than 40 years experience in the ship broking industry.

But contrary to fluency in written and spoken English it is not a must. New University graduates are welcome to apply as well.
